This journal was born out of one mama's desperate need.

A Warrior Mama's Prayer Journal walks you through a full year of guided prayer — built around four themes, with seven specific prayer focuses inside each. You don't have to know what to pray. You just have to show up and pray what's in front of you.

The four themes

1. Gospel. Praying that the gospel bears real fruit in your child — that they understand who God is, who they are in him, what sin really is, and what walking with Jesus actually looks like. Seven days of praying for the gospel to take root.

2. Character. Every child will struggle with different things in different seasons. Seven days of praying for character — for love, truth, peace, obedience, humility, service, and a tender heart toward others.

3. Protection. The enemy "prowls around like a roaring lion" (1 Peter 5:8). Seven days of praying for your child's spiritual, emotional, and physical protection — over their thought life, their boldness, their clarity, their peace, their ability to spot a lie when they hear one.

4. Abiding. The long arc — your child's decisions, friendships, future, calling. Anchored in Isaiah 61:3 and Jeremiah 17:7–8, seven days of praying that they would grow up rooted, trusting, and bearing fruit for him.

From the gospel theme — pray that your child understands their true identity.

Scripture. "For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works." (Ephesians 2:10) "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession." (1 Peter 2:9–10)

Prayer. Father, my child's value is not in who they are in themselves, or in what they do — not success, not sports, not activities, not career. It is rooted in who you are and what you have declared about them. Help my child understand the difference. As your child, they are invited into an intimate relationship with you, made possible by Jesus' work on the cross. Let them know it.
